Two years ago now we were approached by North East based windows, doors & conservatory company, Seaham Windows, to design and develop a brand identity for them to launch their new business. Their business is growing impressively and as such we’ve recently been invited back to advise and support them on how to grow and develop their marketing and brand strategy further.
Originally Seaham Windows launched with a modest and more basic brochure style website, designed to raise brand awareness and give them a digital presence, which they’ve now outgrown as expected. They have developed and expanded the business to offer a wider service range for their customers, and as such have a great deal more to offer, along with a broader portfolio of examples to exhibit.
After discussions with Seaham Windows we designed and developed a new website which would feature the full range of services offered, whilst driving the focus towards the main core services. In addition to this we’ve clearly sign posted the main points of contact, along with the important guarantees and accreditations.
We were also extremely keen to make the site very easy to navigate and high in visuals, as it’s easier to see what style window or conservatory you would like from a photo rather than a description or technical specification. On top of this we’ve also added in a video showreel, downloadable PDF brochure, and the Seaham Windows radio advert, all of which are available on demand.
The website, www.seahamwindows.com , is supported and driven by our own custom built content management system (CMS), which allows our clients full flexibility over the development of their website and content. The CMS gives Seaham Windows the power to easily add new menu options, new pages, edit content, add photographs, manage their image galleries, add and edit animated image sliders for each page, manage search engine responses and Google Adwords. All of this control is easily managed and achieved in minutes without any prior knowledge of websites, it’s as simple as you could imagine. The CMS is accessed via a browser based login, designed for maximum flexibility of use, making it easier for you to update your content whenever and wherever you like.
The website also captures and stores enquiry data through the CMS, allowing Seaham Windows to manage their digital enquiries more efficiently. This is also backed up by detailed website statistics, giving feedback on number of visits, specific pages visited and what times and days are most popular, which is vital feedback and user behaviour profiling which can allow for more intelligent market spending and increase your ROI.
The new CMS driven website is already receiving great feedback from customers and driving in new sales enquiries. Not to mention the increased efficiency through being able to update the content easier and add new services, and being able to sell themselves more through the ease of adding new projects and gallery samples.
